The webbing load cell Type M51111 is designed for accurate force measurement directly in the safety belt during vehicle crash tests. Its ultra-lightweight titanium construction ensures a negligible influence on belt performance, even when multiple sensors are used simultaneously.The acting belt force is transmitted efficiently into the sensor body, where integrated strain gauges convert the mechanical load into a stable electrical signal. The Wheatstone full-bridge design provides excellent linearity and repeatability under highly dynamic crash conditions.Thanks to its removable retaining bars, the load cell can be mounted quickly onto standard webbing, making it ideal for development and certification testing with Hybrid III crash test dummies. The replaceable cable concept and optional integrated UPS module further enhance robustness and ease of use in demanding test environments.
