The International Conference on Biomechanics in Sports (organized by the ISBS) is an annual event that spotlights the latest developments in academic research in this field. This year's conference is taking place at the German Sport University Cologne from 14 to 18 June.
Often just a few hundredths of a second will decide whether a race is won or lost – this especially applies in the sport of swimming. For competitive swimmers, their performance and technique for starts and turns are key factors in achieving better results.
PAS-S provides the key performance results and delivers immediate feedback to the athlete and coach. This information allows them to optimize an athletes’ performance in daily training and thus achieve better results in competition.
The performance analysis system will be shown during an exclusive workshop to demonstrate how the system works in practice, which will be held
on Saturday 17 June 2017,
from 10 to 12 o’clock
at the German Sport University Cologne.
The basis of the live demonstration will be centered on Dr. Bruce Mason, long-standing head of the Aquatic Testing, Training and Research Unit at the Australian Institute of Sport to show you how to use the system in order to sustainably increase the performance of your athletes. Dr. Bruce Mason has worked with the Australian Olympic champions Ian Thorpe, Kieren Perkins, Grant Hackett, Susie O'Neill and Jess Schipper.
Just register at Andrea Poyer and we are pleased to welcome you to this free event.
