Are you looking for measuring equipment to record wheel force and torque on tire test benches and mobile test units? The static RoaDyn S530 measuring hub performs both force and torque measurements and test bench controlling. Thanks to compact multi-component technology real load cycles can be simulated not only with angle but also force regulation. The RoadDyn S530 is therefore predominantly implemented for testing durability and tire wear and tear.
The 2-component RoaDyn S220 measuring hub is designed to measure rolling resistances on passenger vehicle tire test benches and complies with the precise measurement methods set out in ISO 28580, SAE J 1269 and ECE R117. It measures longitudinal and vertical forces (Fx and Fz), which act on the tire contact area, for wheel loads of up to 20 kN. The force measurement method allows for the same-time testing of two tires, thus considerably increasing efficiency.

The modularly designed KiRoad Performance wheel force measurement system for supplying, configuration, synchronization and signal processing outputs data via a number of available interfaces (CAN, USB, WLAN, Ethernet, SSI, DTI and field bus).
Our newly developed evaluation electronics KiRoad Tire Testing takes advantage of the ongoing digitization. Its built-in "brain" recognizes the connected measuring hub, the individual strain gauges and the TEDS data stored inside them. It supplies the user with results consisting of calculated forces and torques up to 5 kHz via CAN, Ethernet or also in analog form.
Creating and validating fully fledged tire models
We will also be showing a wide range of sensors in the field of vehicle dynamics, which provide measurement data in objective operation for designing and validating tire models. Combined with RoaDyn sensors detailed tire characterization is thus possible, including, for instance, shear force build-up arising from drift angle and dynamic camber.
