Celebrating 30 Years of Kistler Japan – and Launching a Brand-new Website

Kistler Japan Co., Ltd. celebrates its 30th anniversary on 4 December 2015. Ever since it was founded in 1985, Kistler Japan has continuously supplied Japan’s industry with high-precision measuring technology – and in the meantime, the firm has grown to ten times its original size. Kistler Japan would like to thank its customers for the enormous support that has made this growth possible. And to improve the support that Kistler offers its customers, the Kistler website is now available in Japanese.

Strong Customer Base in Industry and Academic World
Kistler Japan was founded in 1985 as the Kistler Group's first Asian hub. At the outset, however, it was a very small office with only two employees. Since then, the company has won support from many industrial customers and academic institutions; this growth, coupled with careful management of customer contacts, has enabled Kistler Japan to maintain steady growth even during tough economic periods – when the economic bubble burst, for example, or after the Lehman collapse.

Sustainable Growth
Over its 30-year history, Kistler's Japan team grew first to ten employees and then to nearly 40 at three locations: Tokyo, Chubu, and Kansai. These professionals also provide technical services for Kistler’s Japanese customers. Thanks to Kistler's valuable contribution to Japan’s key industries, the Kistler name has become a byword for high-precision measurement, especially in the automotive industry – not only in R&D, but also for production process control.

Continuing to Be a Reliable Partner for Japanese Industry
30 years is a long time, but it’s only the beginning of a great success story! Kistler Japan accords high priority to continuous improvement so that the company can continue to be a reliable partner and provider of cutting-edge technology for Japanese industry. A first major step towards this customer-focused future has just been taken: Kistler's global website is now available in Japanese. With the launch of the Japanese website, customers can keep up to date with Kistler’s solutions and obtain relevant information wherever and whenever they need it.
