Handling of Electromechanical NC Press-Fit Systems

This introductory course on NC press-fit systems provides an insight into the design and operation of electric press-fit modules and allows participants to gain initial experience in handling the presses.


- Fundamentals of press-fit technology
- System design and operation of individual components
- Commissioning of NC press-fit system with typical parameters
- Integration with machine PLC, for example Siemens S7 CPU
- Maintenance of NC press-fit systems
- Troubleshooting and remedial measures
- Quality assurance documentation

In addition to listening to various lectures, in a workshop the participants are given the opportunity to set up a NC press-fit system and simulate actual processes. Together with the Kistler NCF press-fit modules, the IndraDrive and S7 CPU are used.

Please send your registration/cancellation in writing to the contact person below. As attendance is limited, please send us your registration at the earliest possbile opportunity. The course fee covers all seminar documentation and refreshments during the course.
You may cancel your attendance without incurring charges up to three weeks before the start of the seminar. In the event of later cancelllation or failure to attend, we will charge you the full course fee.
Kistler reserves the right to cancel or amend the course for compelling reasons.

On completion of the course the participant will be able to set up and maintain an NC press-fit system as well as linking it to the PLC of a machine.

Target group

The training is primarily intended for personnel involved in the practical aspects of setting up, maintenance and PLC programming. However, the course also offers system designers and QA managers valuable background information. Course prerequisite: basic knowledge of PLCs (preferably S7).
