Manager- Vehcile Dynamics and Durability Sales and Applications

Main Role and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy for the designated products in the market, following the group directives.
  • Manage the sales and technical support for the designated product line, including, for example, customer quotations, technical support, and customer product demonstrations.
  • Meets with and gains an understanding of key customer needs and desires and provides technical and sales support in the product area defined.
  • Assist Sales Center Manager in establishment and achievement of product sales objectives.
  • Identify present and future requirements for the potential introduction of new products.
  • Encourage the market development of Service and Rental business opportunities
  • Support the development of a marketing communication plan in conjunction with corporate and local marketing resources.
  • Supports the introduction of Kistler products with customers through direct on-site support including product installation and training for customer engineers and technicians.
  • Installation and commissioning of defined products for demonstration, service and rental opportunities
  • Provides training and technical support for Kistler personnel in defined product area.
  • Actively network within group companies to assist in penetration of global customers.
  • Participate at trade shows for product sector, monitor and follow up on trade shows and advertising inquiries.

Qualified candidates will meet these competencies and requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited four year college
  • Ten years’ experience starting in vehicle test and measurements, particularly in support of automotive OEMs, followed by a sales / application role for an automotive industry supplier
  • Management skills to successfully lead a small team of sales and application engineers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft office products.
