TOP 100 Seal of Approval for Innovative Capability

As an innovation leader, Kistler consistently seizes on overarching trends and translates them into unique metrological solutions and products. This dedicated approach pays dividends: Kistler Automotive GmbH was chosen as one of Germany's hundred most innovative medium-sized businesses in 2015, and was awarded the sought-after TOP 100 Quality Seal of Approval.

The TOP 100 Seal of Approval honors Germany's most innovative businesses in recognition of their outstanding achievements. The TOP 100 project provides valuable benchmarking for innovation management by subjecting every stage of the innovation process to rigorous scrutiny. An independent jury of experts rates categories of innovative capability such as 'Innovation-Friendly Senior Management', Climate of Innovation' and 'Innovative Processes and Organization'. The result is that a company's innovative capability − and its capacity to deal with future developments − can be seen at a glance. This year's Seals of Approval were presented on June 26, 2015 by TOP 100 mentor and science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar during the German Small and Medium-Sized Company Summit in Essen.

Leading Edge through Innovation

As an innovation leader, Kistler seizes consistently on overarching trends and translates them into groundbreaking metrological solutions and products. This dedicated approach pays dividends, as Dr. Thomas Wagner, Head of Kistler's Division Automotive Research & Test is delighted to explain: 'We act as a development partner to devise individual solutions in close collaboration with our customers. The award of the TOP 100 Seal of Approval is both a mark of recognition and a source of motivation for us.' Dr. Wagner adds: 'The TOP 100 Seal of Approval acknowledges the tireless efforts of Kistler's employees in Germany and throughout the world.'

Short Innovation Cycles

Innovation cycles in the automotive industry are accelerating as time goes on. This is generating demand for more efficient and more economical engines that offer enhanced safety and comfort – and at lower prices. Faced with this growing pressure, many OEMs are focusing more on their core businesses as they turn to selected development partners for the support they need. This latest trend is both a challenge and an opportunity for a medium-sized enterprise such as Kistler. ‘The TOP 100 Seal of Approval shows that we are meeting the challenge,’ Dr. Thomas Wagner notes.

Close Collaboration with Customers

Kistler provides individual support to numerous OEMs by acting as a powerful development partner. Thanks to customized solutions and a range of services tailored to clients' requirements, Kistler meets the most diverse challenges – always on the basis of eye-to-eye relationships with customers. By expanding its Tech Centers, Kistler will be able to step up its innovative efforts in the future as it continues to collaborate closely with its customers across the globe. The TOP 100 Seal of Approval provides encouraging confirmation that Kistler has set the right course for the future.
