Miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometers, KiVibe Miniature, PiezoStar crystal / 8011A

Triaxial accelerometers IEPE, KiVibe Miniature, PiezoStar crystal / Z22198

8011A

The product family Type 8011A consists of the world's smallest triaxial accelerometers which measure vibration in three orthogonal axes.
Main features / advantages
  • Low mass of 0.9 grams and miniature size of a 6 mm cube
  • Measurement ranges of 100, 250, 500 and 1000 g
  • Extremely wide frequency bandwidth from 0.3 to 8000 Hz (±5%)
  • Minimal thermal sensitivity shift thanks to PiezoStar crystal technology
  • Low-noise performance even at high electromagnetic interference thanks to internal ground isolation
  • Wide temperature range: -55 to +125°C (-67 to +257°F)
  • Swiss made for highest quality and performance
The KiVibe Miniature triaxial IEPE accelerometers are designed for structural testing, for example on satellites, printed circuit boards, and components with limited installation space. The integrated PiezoStar sensor element enables a very low thermal sensitivity shift. This unique sensor element is combined with low-noise electronics to enable a wide frequency range. The acceleration sensors are case-isolated for low noise performance even in the presence of strong electromagnetic interference, e.g., in electric motors. In addition, the welded titanium housing ensures robustness and low weight. The integrated cable is attached to the sensor using a patented technology and combines robustness with easy handling, even in demanding installation situations. The cable is equipped with a standard four-pin industrial connector (1/4-28 UNF pos.) and includes Transducer Electronic Data Sheet (TEDS).
