The system combines drive, control, sensors and functional safety in a single housing and therefore requires minimal space – ideal for particularly compact machine concepts. Three steps to a documented, electromechanical joining process with the Integrated Joining System

Functional principle: joining system with integrated module (IJSys): commissioning and connection to the machine/plant system
1. Integrate – compact and with few peripherals

The Integrated Joining System reduces the required periphery and simplifies integration into the machine or system thanks to smart features.

  • Mechanical interface in accordance with ISO 15552
  • Simple electrical connection via two plugged-in cables
  • Fieldbus-based communication according to established standard
  • Low space requirement and minimal peripherals thanks to integrated design

2. Flexible control – reliable process control

The precise force-displacement control for stable joining processes is based on the parameters force, position and speed, as well as clearly defined limit values and reproducible process windows. The process data regarding force and displacement are recorded in real time so that deviations can be responded to quickly.

3. Record, document and verify

The Integrated Joining System measures the force-displacement values for each individual joining cycle. In combination with the maXYmos NC process monitoring system, the measurement data is collected, analyzed, documented and visualized. Thus, seamless traceability and auditability are ensured, and proof of performance and quality is provided.
