High pressure sensors, M10 front-sealing, for high speed events up to 6000 bar (87000 psi), AEP-97

6215

These piezoelectric pressure sensors are used for measurements of high pressures at high speeds. The design is ideally suited for robust and precise high pressure measurements with large thermal transients. The family Type 6215 is specifically listed in AEP-97.

  • Measurement range: 6'000 bar (87'000 psi)
  • Listed in AEP-97
  • Front sealing for minimal dead volume
  • Long life time for improved total cost of ownership
The sensors of the family Type 6215 are high pressure sensors with excellent lifetime and frequency response. The front sealing construction minimizes the dead volume, allowing high frequency measurements, and low thermal and mechanical stressing of the sensing element. The sensor is specifically accepted and listed in the Manual of Proof and Inspection (MOPI AEP-97 / STANAG 4823). The quartz sensing element results in high stability and good resilience against pyroelectric effects. Furthermore, the identical sealing ring is used for all high pressure sensors (Types 6213, 6215 and 6217), minimizing the number of components required.
