The base unit is a signal conditioner for measuring applications on rotating systems and can be used in combination with the TMS amplifier module (Type 5190A).

The TMS (Telemetric Measurement System) base module enables the digital telemetric data stream from various TMS amplifier modules of Type 5190A to be processed, and the measurement data to be made available for processing in third-party systems, either as an analog signal (± 10 V) or as a data stream. It also serves as a telemetric energy supply source for the respective coupled TMS amplifier module.
