Connection cables for piezoelectric sensors, KIAG 10-32 pos. int to SSMB neg. / 1943A

Coaxial cables 1943A for force, torque and strain sensors (e.g. for sensors with KIAG 10-32 int. connector).

1943A

Coaxial cables 1943A for force, torque and strain sensors (e.g. for sensors with KIAG 10-32 int. connector).
Main features / advantages
  • Enable transmition of charge signals from a sensor to charge amplifier in a highest quality
  • Minimized motion-induced noise
  • Superior signal integrity
  • Fast, easy and tool-free connection
  • Degree of protection EN 60529: IP65
Charge mode, high impedance piezoelectric measurement demands highly insulated coaxial cables and connectors, such as Type 1943A, to ensure an insulation resistance greater than 10E13 Ω throughout the measuring chain. Only low-noise coaxial cables that produce very little triboelectricity during movement may be used. The connectors must be robust, sealed, and resistant to dirt. Kistler connectors have been developed specifically to meet these requirements and are made of stainless steel. Unlike galvanized connectors, they are not subject to any wear, and measurement reliability and accuracy are improved.
