The NC joining modules in the NCFx series (Type 2165A) feature a particularly compact design, which enables a smaller center distance and significantly reduces space requirements. This facilitates integration into existing machine concepts, a clear advantage for plant manufacturers and system integrators. The force measurement of the NCFx joining modules is carried out using force sensors based on the strain gauge (DMS/SG) principle, which are permanently integrated inside the housing.

Communication between the servo amplifier and the maXYmos NC process monitoring system (Type 5847C) takes place digitally via EtherCAT. Thanks to the plug and play functionality of the maXYmos NC, the joining module is clearly identified, the sensor and calibration values are transferred, and the servo amplifier is automatically parameterized. The Ethernet interface can be used to transfer quality data via various protocols, as well as to perform visualizations via VNC and data backups.

The NC joining module NCFx (Type 2165A) is designed for automated production systems and manual workstations in the automotive industry, general manufacturing and white goods. The compact, angled design of the servo press facilitates its integration into space-critical machine concepts. The measuring ranges of 2 to 80 kN cover a wide variety of measurement requirements.
