Pressure Measurments in Diesel Injection System
|
The noise and exhaust emissions of the diesel engine are significantly influenced by the injection strategie. Piezoresistive high pressure sensors (Typ 4067...) are used to measure the pressures in the injection system. These sensors offer a high responsivity and an accurate zero, enabling immediate detection of any cavitation problems in the injection system.

Clamping adapters can be mounted to straight sections of pipe for measuring pressure in fuel injector rails. The outstanding durability of Kistler's piezoresistive high pressure sensors makes them a particularly cost-effective solution.
