Acceleration
Symbol a Unit g (m/s2) Acceleration is a physical quantity referring to kinematics, which is defined as the change of velocity per time interval. Accelerometers are used for investigations in terms of dynamic behaviour. Note: Kistler uses the unit g instead of m/s2, which corresponds to 1 g = 9,8066… m/s2.
