Greater Flexibility during Mold Set-Up

Using a reference curve helps to significantly shorten set-up and changeover times prior to production. The reference curve of the cavity pressure is determined and saved during process optimization as soon as the optimum part quality has been achieved. During set-up, the machine operator adapts machine setting parameters until the closest approximation between the current cavity pressure curve and the reference curve for optimum part quality has been achieved. In this way, even machines that show signs of wear and machines from different manufacturers will always deliver molded parts with identical properties.
