Crashworthiness, Drop Tests
Today, crashworthiness simulations with Finite Elements play an essential part in the design process of vehicle structures, electronic equipment (knocks during transport, drop test) and occupant protection systems (catapult testing).
|

Vibration Behaviour FEM also can be used to determine the resonance frequencies and vibration behaviour of components or whole structural groups. This is of particular interest when excitation of natural frequencies or vibrations needs to be prevented.
Animations of the vibration behaviour can be created with the greatest of ease, and they yield valuable insights into the dynamic response of a system subjected to harmonic excitation.
