 The system for optimization, zero error production with reject separation, real time process control and quality assurance is called CoMo Injection. The compact, all-in-one unit incorporates all of the components required for real time process control and evaluation of molding quality. The color touch screen monitor allows the system to be operated and all data displayed without any need for a PC. An integrated web server enables all process data to be accessed from anywhere via a standard web browser. The open interfaces allow integration into host (e.g. MES or ERP) systems.

 To ensure straightforward yet reliable use of mold cavity pressure sensors in production it is vital to choose the appropriate sensors, cables and electronics (measuring chain). The new multichannel cable technology combines the connecting cables of a number of sensors of a multicavity mold in a single, multichannel cable. It speeds up and simplifies connection of multicavity molds to monitoring systems.

 Modern injection molding machines place very high demands on measurement technology. Kistler has developed special sensors with the high dynamic response and long service life required for their control.
