SCP Compact: Modular Amplifier System for Indication Measurements In-Vehicle

The signal conditioning platform SCP is an integrated equipment platform with function specific measuring modules and front-end signal conditioning. It is the link between sensor and test rig environment. The SCP from Kistler has been on the market for about two years, during which it has proven extremely effective in daily use by many important vehicle manufacturers and engine development companies. Its modularity and flexibility of application are seen as key advantages.

In the form of the (Type 2854A...) SCP Compact, Kistler now offers a new, more compact platform for use in in-vehicle indication. With 4 or 6 slots the SCP Compact is smaller and lighter for in-vehicle operation. With a voltage requirement of 10 ... 36 V it can be vehicle powered or conventionally operated with an AC power pack.

The existing SCP modules are completely compatible and can also be operated in the SCP Compact. This allows the modules to be used for measurement on the test rig and in the vehicle. Even with this compact design no compromises for the convenient operation of the modules have been made.
