Official Grand Opening of the new Technical Center in Novi, MI

On April 26th , over 120 customers participated in the Grand Opening of the Kistler Technical Center North America. The building was officially opened by Mr. Rolf Sonderegger, CEO, Kistler Instrumente AG, along with an appearance by Mr. David Staudt, Mayor Pro Tem, City of Novi .

This new 20,000 sq ft facility will further enhance Kistler’s presence in the Detroit area to support our many customers with specific product expertise, on-site service, local calibration to ISO-17025 and product training.

NC Joining Module NCFH with hollow shaft motor

In the Manufacturing application area, Kistler customers are benefitting from a new generation of electromechanical NC joining modules NCFH Type 2151B…, Type 2152A… and Type 2153A… offer particularly compact, high-precision systems for a wide variety of force displacement monitored press-fitting and joining tasks.

Kistler pressure sensors, force sensors, strain sensor, torque sensors and accelerometers use the piezoelectric effect for precise measurement of mechanical properties

The PRT Configurator is now available. Simply click on the options that match your application and the resulting Type Number is presented for trouble-free ordering. This unique, easy-to-use tool makes it easy to configure and select piezoresistive pressure sensors.
Kistler Instrument Corp. calibration laboratories are ISO/IEC 17025 accredited. We recommend annual sensor calibration service to maintain precise data of the highest integrity.

Kistler North America employs about 110 people and our facilities include a Production and R&D Center (acceleration and pressure products) in Amherst, NY, and a Sales / Technical Center in Novi, MI.
