Polarity

Specifies the allocation of native and positive charge.

Note: A press force sensor generates a negative charge at press force, which is converted into a positive voltage signal by a charge amplifier. On the other hand, a press force sensor provides a positive charge at tensile force, which is converted into negative voltage signal.
